Sport and Play is a new company offering a unique online system that allows the management of the servicing, maintenance and fault reporting of heath & fitness and leisure sector equipment at any time of the day or night.
Operators should perform regular visual safety inspections in accordance with suppliers' recommendations, as well as to regular equipment maintenance checks and servicing. This usually means keeping a long and laborious log, as staff should immediately be able to produce copies of their health and safety checks if an accident occurs.
Sport and Play's health and safety module holds a record for each site so that staff inspecting the equipment can log on and simply check and date the boxes on the daily, weekly and monthly inspection sheets.
The company's website also gives access to 24-hour online health and safety training,so that new staff can become certified to inspect equipment at a time convenient to them.
The web-based system additionally offers a fault reporting and emergency call out procedure with same day, 24-hour and 72-hour call out options. A call back request system for immediate response or call back within 30 minutes or one hour is also included.
Sport and Play will offer servicing and maintenance contracts to cover sport, play and fitness equipment and an online shopping facility for everything from sports hall netting and hall, dance and squash court flooring to fitness, gymnastics and indoor and outdoor play equipment.
