AVITechnologies’ products range from photo kiosks and printers to acrylic keyring and fridge magnet blanks, photo cutters and other photo related promotional materials.

However, one of the newest additions to the selection is an on-site jigsaw machine.

The machine can instantly create souvenir jigsaw puzzles from any print source, ink jet, dye sub, laser or silver halide, and the company sees the product as providing a unique alternative to the vast number of themed photographs on offer.

Cutter dies come in a range of sizes, 4x6in up to 12x18in, but custom dies can also be created for specific purposes.

The product uses a souvenir photo which is mounted onto a self-adhesive backing board, placed in the cutter die and then run through the press.

AVITechnologies says that sale prices for the jigsaw will depend upon the type of operation being run, but typically £8.00 for a 4x6in jigsaw, £12.00 for a 6x9in and up to £35.00-£40.00 for the larger 12x16in or 12x18in sizes are not uncommon.

The jigsaw press costs £1,500.00 and dies start from £170.00, all prices being ex-VAT.
