Available in the UK from December, Crystal 40 is a silent running, eco minibar based on Peltier Cooling technology. This pumps out heat from an insulated container and reduces the inside temperature to leave cold air inside.

Advances made in Peltier technology mean that previous problems with achieving a constant cold temperature below 10?C in an hotel room have been overcome and it is now possible to chill to 7?C and below.

Noise was previously also a problem but, using a heat exchanger which draws the heat out of the minibar without the use of a fan, this has been solved on the Crystal 40.

The unit is available with light, lock and rear ventilation cover as standard and has been designed with ease of maintenance as a main criteria.
