Mexico’s Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit has upped the ante for its littlest guests with the introduction of a new baby spa treatment, designed to complement the resort’s Baby Concierge and Baby’s First Haircut Services.

The Sunrise Massage aims to stimulate the baby’s senses and central nervous system, as well as promote sensory and cognitive development. Aimed at children between 1 and 3 years old, the treatment encourages babies to differentiate textures and sounds to the tunes of Mozart.

The resort also offers a Baby’s First Haircut service, which comes with special pampering and a certificate celebrating the milestone, as well as a Baby Concierge service that coordinates everything from a crib, Mexican toys, baby floats and baby clothes to nanny service and gentle, baby-friendly bath and shampoos.

The 267-bedroom Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit features a spa with 20 treatment suites and more than 30 spa treatments – many of which are inspired by the native traditions of Mexico – and a signature water journey.
